Hayley going solo? No more Brand New Eyes? ParaOz hitting the bigtime?

HAYLEY RECORDS SOLO TRACK Listed on the soundtrack for the upcoming film Jennifer's Body, is a song by Paramore front woman Hayley Williams. Hayley addressed this solo venture on the Paramore Live Journal I wrote a song a long time ago by myself and the people from the movie asked me if they could use it. it’s not going to be sold as a single and it won’t be promoted other than just being on the tracklisting. don’t worry, this isn’t the beginning of the hayley williams project hahaha. i just write a lot and this randomly got picked up cause janick had it. our priority is the new album and that’s what is the complete focus of all of us. with that said, “teenagers” means a lot to me and i hope you guys enjoy it! Ignorance debuts over in Americaland!

Hey everyone! Okay, so I haven't updated in a veryyyy long time, so forgive me if the formatting is terrible, but I have news again! Ignorance has debuted over in America! It drops at #67 in its first week on the BB Hot 100 chart. It skips the bubbling under chart and debuts directly on the main chart. None of the singles from Riot! managed that. Only Decode has a higher debut, but circumstances are weird for that seeing as it's a soundtrack promo single. Anyway, it also starts at #58 on the Hot Digital Songs chart, and just makes the Hot Modern Rock Track chart at #26. Canada isn't too far behind this time--Ignorance debuts at #96 on their Hot 100 chart too! And that concludes this cursory update. More to come, I'm sure. - Matt =]

It's been a busy and crazy past week for Paramore which means things have been busy and crazy around here as well. If you're behind on the times then hopefully this post will catch you up. The biggest news of the week was being able to pre-order the new album 'brand new eyes' which is due for a September release. There will be a standard version containing just the new cd as well as deluxe version which will give you a whole lot more (scroll down for an earlier post for details). To pre-order the deluxe version head over to THIS Australian site. // discuss the new album on our forum Over shadowed by the album ordering that occured on Tuesday, was that the first single from the new album 'Ignorance' becoming available for download on either iTunes or amazon.com. If you can't purchase it but still want to hear it, head over to paramore.net and stream it. // discuss the new single on our forum Hayley and Taylor will be travelling to Sydney in mid-August to promote the new album. And before you even think of asking, no, we do not know what radio/tv stations they will be attending or if they will be playing anywhere.
